[Ansteorra] one last thank you -Ansteorran Rose Tourney

Hello all,

Maggie, you have actually neglected to thank someone who did a
remarkable amount of work for the Rose tourney, and I would like to
remedy your oversight.

Countess Margaret, whom we Ansteorrans are fortunate to claim as our
own, did a graceful and elegant job of organizing, overseeing and
running the tournament most smoothly. Her welcome and announcements and
'thank yous' were warm and inclusive, and her smile throughout the muggy
morning shone as brightly as the sun that later burned off the fog. Hers
is an irreplaceable presence at the rose breakfast and tourney; I do not
think it could have happened without her assistance. I believe that she
and Countess Octavia have been quite central in organizing the
tournament for the past several years, and I, for one, have greatly
enjoyed being a small part of the lovely spectacle that has become one
of my very favorite moments at the war each year. Thank you, Maggie for
your part in the group effort that is the elegant Tournament of Roses.

Greetings again to all from the Order of the Rose in Ansteorra.

Naturally, when thanking those who assisted us this past Saturday in the
Rapier Rose Tourney, we managed to forget someone!  We simply could not
allow our thanks to the wonderful Lady Eleanor to go unexpressed!  Lady
Eleanor played her harp and sang for our entertainment that morning
(soothing a very busy list mistress when she most needed it!).  How
fortunate we of Ansteorra are to have such talent gracing our Kingdom!

To all those who gave of their time and talents, even if we have
forgotten
to name you specifically in these messages, please accept our heartfelt
thanks!
