Yes, so befriend a newcomer at your next event, whether it is a local or
away event for you. Whether Peer or Gentle. Show them, teach them, set
the example. Not just out where everyone can see, but behind the scenes
as well. I will be doing that this weekend at Steppes Warlord XXX. I am
bringing a young man, an inspired bard, a freshman in high school. I
will be trying to kindle within him the spark of a dream that was
envisioned so many years ago. But as part of this teaching he will be
encouraged to participate as a water-bearer, herald, runner, etc. So,
please help me set the example. Help me teach this new, young spirit why
we do what we do. Because we all have a dream of a different, better
world for ourselves and our children.
