Hola!

What a great idea for smokers! (Using them for ashtrays/butt trays).

I have made mini sewing kits for my family members (mundanely) as gifts,
when money is tight and they work wonderfully! What I did was in the top of
the lid, I made a padded cusion and hot glued it to the lid....voila! pin
cushion! Word of Warning...do not leave sewing needles to run astray in
these tins as they have a tendancy to get stuck under the lip. Instead,
attach them to a piece of scrap cloth.

I have never decorated them....I wouldn;t have a clue as to how to do that.
I would think that paint would chip off easily, being that the box has a
smooth surface.  Any ideas??
