I'd suggest a site that is not associated directly with the SCA (though many
of the folks involved are SCA members): The Academy of ST. Gabriel at
http://www.s-gabriel.org

You can ask the Academy directly for help in getting together names and/or
armory appropriate for your place and period, you can search the Academy's
database of answers for a specific name, and you can check the library for
articles.
