[Ansteorra] Hotels for Bonwicke's Twelfth Night

Dear Ansteorra,

For those who were curious about hotels and rates in the vicinity of Bonwicke's
Twelfth Night, December 13th, this year, I give you the following:

We have a block of 10 rooms reserved at the La Quinta (in the Medical District) on
19th and the Brownfield Hwy for $59 a night. Not the greatest rate in the world, but
not horrible either (it's a tough time of year with the holidays and Texas Tech
graduation) and the hotel's an almost-straight 10 min drive from the site (which is
in a Lubbock "suburb" called Wolfforth). The rate is guaranteed until the 5th of
December. Call 806-792-0065 and say you are with the SCA. If those rooms fill up,
I'm sure it wouldn't be a problem to add more, they were very nice.
