Unto the Populace of Ansteorra, Greetings!
 
Come and celebrate the Harvest Time with us in Tempio.  There will be
fighting, opportunities to demonstrate archery, and knife, axe & spear
prowess, and much good fellowship - but best of all will be the
opportunities for each to demonstrate their gourmet talents!  Gate fee
includes Feast fee!
 
There will be a Grand Contest in Culinary Skill, held in three
categories:
 
- an 'open' category where you may prepare and present anything in the
culinary realm you desire to,
 
- a documented period recipe category - for those of the bent to try
these feast fare recipes, and
 
- a Stone Soup competition!  For your Stone Soup, bring many, and
varied, ingredients ... for you must barter with others on-site for what
you use to prepare your entry!  (Nothing you bring may go into your soup
- all ingredients must be acquired from your fellows!)
 
All entries in the competition must be prepared on-site, and the
combined entries (and anyone else's
offerings!) will constitute the Grand Feast of the Evening.  Each entry
must document its contents on the entry form; alas food allergies are
real, and our populace must be protected.
