Put in another perspective, the only one of those I ever buy is brake fluid,
and I guarantee I haven't purchased a gallon of brake fluid, total, in 10
years.  :)  Ok, I occasionally buy bottled water, but I have a water filter
for a reason.

Do gas prices affect me?  Sure....  Since Lotto Texas hasn't come through
for me yet.  I try to attend closer events, and for events that are farther
away, I like to car pool when possible.  It's an overall-cost equation, like
others have talked about.
