No, the Kings Battle Ribbon is a separate award... it was given to
Rhoadd-Western this year...  Calontir was awarded the regional banner...

On a side note, Mooneschadowe was awarded the KBR for the third time (only
unit to do so, natch) by Miguel I at Gulf Wars XII.

I have heard it most often called the Kings Battle Ribbon. 

I believe it was created under the direction of HRM Mahdi after Gulf
War in 1997.  I understand it to be for exceptional acts of valor
and honor by a unit during war.  My udnerstanding was that the award
was given by the crown with the Companions of the Centurions also 
offering the crown their advice and that the current holder of the
award will be entitled to carry the standard of the Centurions for
the next year then returning it at the next Gulf War.  After that,
the unit will be entitled to display a ribbon with the name and
number of the war attached to their banner.

I believe that in 1997 it was first awarded to Moonschadowe and
Northkeep jointly by HRM Mahdi.  I beleive than in 98 HRM
Jean-Richard again bestowed the King's Battle Ribbon on both
Northkeep and Mooneschadowe for the second time.

In 2000 I believe it was awarded to the Authurian Company of Elfsea.
 
I believe in 2001 it was held by War Company of Bryn Gwlad.


Who can fill i nthe gaps?

I think perhaps the Defenders of the Coast may have also borne this
standard for a while.

While this honor doesn't bestow any precedence, it is something that
 I think would be nice to have tracked in the OP just as the Royal
Champions are tracked there.
