Are you kidding!?!? Open the door, get in the car, close the door, get the key, put the key in the ignition, foot on the brake, drive the car to the parking lot (a whole 'nuther instruction set on its own!), put the car in park, turn off the car, extract the key, open the door, get out of the car, lock the doors, close the door.

That's a 14 step process, and that doesn't even include the whole drive-the-car-to-the-parking lot subroutine!
