[Ansteorra] New Topic-favorite SCA moment of 2003

A couple of my favorite moments this year were
 
...getting to see Countess Margaret in the hospital after the accident...cause she was ALIVE...and the first e-mail from her later...when I knew she was really going to be okay...!
 
Another was watching HE Kezia's face when TRM Ulsted and Cateau presented her with
a thistle for her costuming...and my brother Thorkin getting his AoA that same evening...
(it was a long time coming because of circumstance.)
 
Another was watching Donchad get his Thistle in puppetry (for his wonderful midnight
puppet shows...that have entertained us at Pennsic, Gulf War, and Local events...)
 
Meeting Susan the Curious was another...it made me realize that though e-mail had it's detriments...it can be a great way to meet wonderful people and starting friendships.
 
others were...being trusted enough by my friends and family in the SCA to help them
with problems or help ease their minds by just listening...each moment of trust is a gift.
 
and lastly...the moment my stuff with the BoD was finally over and finding out how much
I was supported, trusted and loved by many people...it was ALMOST worth all the trouble...
 
I'm sure the New Year will bring more wonderful things for all of us!
