The Nobles Sponsored Archery competition - while not able to make it in time to see the
competition, I'm told it was great fun and pageantry for all. I enjoyed being able to come up
with favors and prizes, as well as sponsoring an archer, Lord Leofwine of Summerset, and his lady
wife, Ciarnot, as my representative. I've very proud that Leofwine made it to the third round.

Also, the charter painting - scores of painters tuning out the ambiant noises and focusing in on
solitary painting amidst the crowds walking by who watched them. The location caused many first
timers to give it a try as well. Thanks bunches to those scribes who coordinated it all.

And the History areas - Annes began with a modest set of tables, that by the time I arrived had
expanded in space exponentially due to the great volumn of displays...and they were a treasure to
behold.

Lastly, the comments of Duchess Isabell of York, former Queen of the East, on her love Ansteorra
and the Black Star of Ansteorra that will be found on her heart when one day her ashes will drift
on the winds.

Vivat to all the coordinators of this glorious event,
Hillary
