Greetings to the fair Kingdom,

I know that this is long overdue, and I apologize for my tardiness. I would
like to give thanks and recognition to the following people. With out them
the arts & sciences activities would not have gone as wonderfully as they
did.

Main A&S competition: HE Borek

New Artisans competition: Lady Catalina Ana de Salamanca (coordinator) HL
Julianna Virtue (supplied the participants form)

Largess competition: HE Michelle

Classes: I've got a ton of teachers... HL Audette, HL Antoinette, Lady
Marguerite, HL Willow, HL Snorri, HL Isabeau, Lady Jeanette, Master Oxlade,
Mistress Alix, Laird Gaelen, HL Dyan, HE Mistress Lissa, Lady Abigail, Lady
Isobail, HL Magdalena

HL Julianna for helping us with the space issues after the competitions just
exploded with participants. Master Petruccio for helping to set up tables
after said explosion.

For those of you that couldn’t make it up to the hall during the A&S
activities we had a full slate of amazing classes on Friday and during the
morning on Saturday. We also had three competitions that all happened at
the same time on Saturday morning. We had a New Artisans competition, for
people that have competed in three or fewer A&S competitions in their SCA
carrier. When we started the judging we had 17 entrants in this
competition. That is just amazing to me. In the Main competition we had, I
believe 20 – 25 participants. These entries were just beautiful. We also
had a Largess competition that, I believe, had 15 or so entries. And the
pieces that were entered in the largess competition were donated to their
Majesties after the competition was over. The pieces that were entered in
the largess competition were phenomenal! The quality of work of all the
artisans that competed in all of these competitions was just fantastic. I
will have to say that I was quite inspired by all of these entries.

I would like to thank everyone that helped make these activities happen and
to thank all the entrants in all the competitions. Ansteorra truly has an
astounding amount of talent.

In Service,

Groa Ulfsdottir

AAA A&S coordinator (who’s done!)
