My Honored Lady Rixende, 
I can feel your heart hurting through your words, and I wish you a swift
and positive outcome. I, too, have family in the hardest-hit areas, and
watch in fear as news programs discuss the devastation. You can call the
Red Cross number beginning tomorrow or Thursday to ask for names of
people in shelters.  They'll tell you yes or no, and take a message if
they have the people you seek in a shelter.  It might at least ease you
a little.

Folks, please, please, please.  Money and blood.  Those two make
wonderful donations at a time like this.  Items are hard to ship, may
not be needed in that spot and thus go to waste, and are impossible to
store in District centers.  Money are blood are what they need now, in
that order.  Please look into your hearts and see what you can drop into
the buckets at event gates where they're available.  That will be all we
can do until rebuilding efforts begin.

If enough are interested, you can even call the Red Cross to send out
their blood donation busses!  They'll come to us!

Drat that I can no longer 'work' disasters.
