Godric, Ihon and Gerald, thank you so much for letting me bug you to death about bringing the decorations from all parts of the Kingdom. Thanks to Ihon and Isabeau for helping me put up the kingdom banners. WoW! They are really impressive. I got them in plenty of time to get them up and it was beautiful. Thank you for bringing them for us to use and taking responsibility for them after the event. Without your help, the hall would not have been so spectactular.

HL Lightfoot, Lord Diego,Lord Soren and Lord Einarr-I sincerely appreciate you helping me with the set up and clean up of the hall and helping carry things to the car.

His Excellency Baron William-Thank you for bringing the tables. We're so lucky and glad to have a friend in you.

Mistress Hillary-Thanks for keeping me company Friday night. I enjoyed your company. Also thanks for running the Scribe's Table on such sort notice. (Your sign was much better than mine!)

Thank you to Her Grace Sara and Mistress Kaitlyn for their support and advice for this our first Coronation event.

Lady Anna and Lady Isabel-thank you for the feeding and watering of the crazed autocrat!

Last but not least my personal thanks to the Lord Jean-Paul and Lord Francois and the Seawinds Shire Guard. This event would not have run so smoothly without their committment. Thank you for moving tables, unpacking, repacking, hauling and tent pitching and helping in every other way. The new Seawinds signs that Francois made are beautiful. Thank you for all of the hard work and long hours, you deserve a huge Vivat!

To all of the others who stayed and helped thank you for making a successful event.

I would like to thank....

My co-autocrats, HL Katherine Brandon and Ly. Caitriona without you guys, we would have not even thought about hosting Coronation.

Ld. Jean-Paul and Ly.Marguerite – you guys should have been called co-co-autocrats! You did just as much work in the planning and stuff as we did. Ly. Marguerite, the royal lunch was amazing!

Ld. Francois – the signs were amazing and I could not believe all the running around you did – it seemed like you were everywhere at once!

HL Gordon – see, you old dragon, we still do need you! It wouldn’t have been the same without you. Thanks so much for all the work you did once you got there, especially in the recreation center and all.

Ld. Jayme – you are the ladder man extrordinare! I could not be that brave to get up on that tall BROKEN ladder to hang banners.

Mistress Hillary – Thanks for running the Scribes Point at the last minute. You are always there to offer assistance and believe me it is much appreciated.

Mistress Corrinne – Thanks, teacher-mine for running the Laurel’s table and helping to keep me sane. You are truly what I aspire to be.

To HRM Ulstead and Cateau – Thank you for believing in us. Anything that you ever need, on the throne or off, ask, and if we can do it, we will.

To Ly. Apollonia, Ly. Muirin, and all the kitchen help, servers, etc. You did it again! That was one phenomenal feast! Everyone loved it!

Ly. Caley and Ld. Gavin – the head table was just beautiful and the lunch for everyone was wonderful! Caley, you did you Amazon mom proud!

Ly. Anna, thanks for being a quiet inspiration. The hospitality table was great! Seeing you on the risers pulling down banners was wild! Thanks for helping me put the pictures back!

Ld. Sancho, thanks for your help this weekend. I know sometimes that you feel like you are looked over, but believe me we needed and appreciated your help with Coronation.

To Prince William, thanks for gracing our shire with your presence all the way from Louisiana. It was nice meeting you. If you are ever in the area, look us up and hopefully we can visit more. It was fun.

To all of my friends from the Kingdom (HG Patrick and Julia, Count Jason, Sir Randall, Mistresses Lorraine and Stella, etc – thanks so much for being here and being part of Seawinds history! Without your help, we wouldn’t be where we are today.

HL Iona Niall - thank you for all the scrolls you did - 42 scrolls in
two weeks is amazing! I knew you were amazing when I married you, but you
let me know all the time! Thanks, love, for your patience through all of this.

I know I am missing some people and believe me, I am not meaning to. Seawinds, you all showed that you are not afraid of a challenge and can perform under pressure with the best of them! You guys are truly amazing!

HL John Lightfoot

Co-autocrat, Coronation, January 2005

>From Lady Caitriona inghen Mhic Lochlainn.....

I too would like to thank my co autocrats HL Katherine and HL Lightfoot, it was great working with you both.

Lord Wayland--Thank you for making all the site tokens, they were perfect. And thanks goes to Brianna and Lord Owen for putting them all on cords Friday night.

Lady Apollonia--Thank you for the beautiful feast tokens.

Master Modius--Thank you for taking care of King's Champion, I was sorry to miss the fighting. And thanks to Lord Owen for marshaling.

HL Iona Niall and HL John Lightfoot--Your Coronation Announcements were beautiful as always. We can always count on you guys to do a fantastic job.

Lady Isabella and Lady Mairead--Thank you for taking charge of the Waterbearing and taking such good care of our fighters and populace. Your group of young waterbearers--Angus, Brianna and Caleb? were wonderful, expecially when they made sure the kitchen help was taken care of, even bringing us all lunch.

Lady Caley--Thank you for being our Chirurgeon in Charge and making sure we were all safe.

Lady Anna, Phylis, Paul and Lady Muirin--thank you for all the hospitality, from the breakfast goodies, to the well stocked bathrooms, you made us all feel welcome.

Lady Marguerite--Thank you for taking care of the Royal Lunch, it was fabulous!

Lady Caley and Haus Vom Cophus--Thanks you for feeding the fighters and the rest of the populace.

To the feast cooks--Lady Apollonia, Lady Muirin, Lady Calena, Lady Diana, Zira and Lady Caitriona--it was a fabulous feast. I enjoyed working with all of you in the kitchen!

Lady Muirin was our kitchen manager--she organized the kitchen, made sure we kept on scheduled and rallied us when we got behind--but watch out for her big spoon!

To all the wonderful kitchen helpers--Finn, Monica, Brianna, Brigette, Sancho, Gilli and his lady, Caly, Gavin,"Ogre" and some young lady who I do not know who helped peel eggs-- not one of you complained or backed down from any duty that was thrown your way.

To the entire kitchen staff who worked all day preparing feast and then stayed to help clean it all up so we could be out of the hall by 10 pm--we made it with 3 minutes to spare!! Woo Hoo!

Gilli--what can I say--with out you bringing not only your kitchen and serving supplies, but Middleford's as well, we would not have been able to cook or serve that wonderful feast. And how you got it all in your car is beyond me???

Lady Gwynafwy--Thank you for being head server and organizing the amazing group of servers who managed to serve feast in a little over one hour!! I am sorry I do not have a list of all the servers--you guys were great!

Lady Caley and Haus Vom Cophus--I hear your serving of head table was most entertaining. And Caley your decoration of head table and the stage area was beautiful.

I would like to make a special thank you to my daughter, Brianna, who begged me to let her come to this event. She was told she would work if she came and work she did. She swept the entire hall twice, she helped string tokens, she did water bearing, helped prepare feast, served feast and then help wash dishes. Now if I can get her to do the same at home.

I know we probably missed some people and I apologize. As you can see it took a lot of people to host this event. As I am also Seawinds Seneschal I would like to thank all the members of Seawinds for working incredibly hard on this event. To our sister shire Stonebridge Keep--what can I say? We love you guys. And to all of our friends from across this great kingdom who came to our aid by bringing tables, decorations, kitchen supplies and manpower, I thank you for your generosity and support. And finally, to all those who traveled to Seawinds to join us for this momentous event, I hope you had as much fun as we did.

Caitriona,

Co Autocrat/Coronation

Seneschal/Shire of Seawinds
