Very, *very* roughly, I'd say that the number of
awards given per reign ranges between about 200 and
450. About 25% of those might be AoAs (which don't
require insignia), so we might use 150-340 pieces of 
insignia per reign?  Just a guess. It varies pretty
widely from one crown to the next.
