Hmmm. let's see. I like the term "autocrat" or "autocrator". It's a
perfectly byzantine name. There is no such thing as a "co-autocrat", though,
as it is an oxymoron.

Gunther,
If you can figure out a way to do it in less than 146 chapters, I'd love to
hear some of your ideas about period tavern ideas.

I'm not Gunthar, nor do I look like him (although we both like purple), but
these are my ideas of
period food that a tavern can sell for Breakfast and lunch:

Homebaked breads (Baroness Maleah makes some awesome ones that she then
freezes and donates to the cause in Namron) bagels, egg breads, flat breads,
biscuits.....
Eggs - hardboiled, fried, scrambled, in an omlette or frittata, quiche
Hot cereals (oatmeal, cream of wheat, etc.)
Sausages
Yogurt (with or without fruit)
Soft cheeses such as cottage cheese, yogurt cheese, cream cheese, ricotta,
etc. (with or without flavors or fruit)

Lunch:

Steak on a stick
shish kabobs
fruit kabobs
couscous
sausage on a stick
breads
grilled onions and mushroom
roasted chicken legs
cooked vegetables
cheeses (see above)
Meat and sausage pies
Grilled meat patties (a lot like hamburgers:)
Shrimp and rice stew
Dried fruits and nuts

I could go on, but...you get the idea.
I've bought breakfasts and lunches like these many times. YMMV.

Shrimp...you can boil 'em, bake 'em, fry 'em up, shrimp gumbo, shrimp
creole, shrimp cocktail, etc...
