I think that everyone here will agree with this statement, if you will
agree to look at the other side of the coin and agree that:

Tradition can also be a bad thing, and some things improve with change.

I don't think I really need to illustrate with examples, but I'm sure
I could whip some out - mundane and SCA - if needed.

If you're going to talk in blanket statements, you may get smothered
by the blanket.  ;)
