Sorry if your counter shows an odd post and you can't find it...it's at one
end of your list...

My apologies about the date on the blog post I made. I just realized I
hadn't reset the date/time. My computer was saying that I posted to this
list in 1956 (the year before I graduated high school; so, actually, I
really was here then, but this egocentric machine wasn't!!).

The reason for the odd date? I don't know why it chose that year.  Talk to
its makers, the Apple (Macintosh)-in-a-garage design group.

I unplugged the machine so last night's tempest's surges wouldn't fry my
antique surge protector and my machine. I figure if a computer's plugs
aren't connected, a surge can't get to it. Not bad for a blonde, huh? ;-)
