Unto Ansteorra, our friends...
 
This past weeks end, was a birthday celebration within Bordermarch. Many came out with love and support for her...thank you all.
 
We joined our noble friends Elfsea, in remembering our past with Rome and all those cultures that followed. With Ansteorran heat, this was wise. Our Event Steward, Ld Dylan, with his crew set up a wonderous site to behold. The Feast Steward, Ld. Elrique, prepared a glorious feast to remember for many days to come. Many merchants did come and stay within the village, it was a pleasure having them share with us their treasures and stories. 
 
The day gave us champions, to honor and love...
In Chivalric was Centurian Tomas
In Rapier was Don Ansgar
In Arts and Science, Lady Isabella
In Archery, Don Christophoro
 
We have been most pleased in all of our previous champions. Forever will they be known as such, within our hearts. They all do Ansteorra proud.
 
Their Royal Majesties came with Awards and Titles, to bless these fields. Bordermarch was most honored to have them and His Highness attend this, our 28th year. 
 
Ldy. Donnel made the 4 youth boffer combatants, and their parents smile...thank you. Forgive me, I dont seem to recall all of their names. 
 
All of those who entered the different competitions, you gave us more than you will ever know. To make the journey is a gift, to give of your talent is a most cherished act we will not forget.
 
A heartfelt thanks to all those who did set-up and served the luncheon. We appreciated your help greatly. 
 
Those list-mistress' and waterbearers proved most valuable, yet again. There were so many more to thank.... Heralds, workers within the kitchen, gate workers...
