This controversy about chivalry and acceptable behavior has given me an opening to once again put out a missive about Kingdom A&S to be held on February 18th of next year. The subject was originally brought up as disrespectful treatment of an event site. At Kingdom A&S one of the sponsoring groups (Crossrode Keep) is hosting a separate competition: What did you do to your mundane items to adapt them into looking period. So, you all have some time to think of bottle covers, adapted trash cans, adapted ash trays and so forth. This competition will be judged by popular vote by the populace attending with judging beads. The only documentation required is a "how to" so that others may use your ideas to the benefit of the society as a whole
.
This is also where the Kingdom Artisan will be chosen as well as the Gulf War competitors.
Site Fee is $10 for adults $5 for children 10-17, children 9 and under are free with a family cap of $30. Please have proof of membership to avoid the $3 non member surcharge.
