Event announcements for the December issue are due November 1.
Event announcements for the January issue are due December 1.
Event announcements for the February issue are due January 1.

Before you submit your event announcement please read the submission  
guidelines found in each issue of the Black Star. You can also find  
the same submission guidelines and some helpful tips on designing  
your event announcement at:

Your submission must include:

1. Your event announcement.
2. A filled out and signed (by you, the seneschal) Event Announcement  
Checklist and Seneschal Sign Off Form.
3. If any artwork/map/borders are included in your event announcement  
you must also include a filled out and signed (by the artist) Artwork  
Release Form for Event Announcements.
4. If your event announcement is in excess of your three free  
announcements for the year you will need to include the appropriate fee.

You can submit your event announcement and the required paperwork  
either electronically or as paper copies by mail. I prefer electronic  
submissions as the event announcements print much cleaner than a  
paper announcement that has been scanned. Needles to say you will  
need to send any payment by mail.

I will send you an email acknowledging that I have received your  
event announcement and paperwork. I will also let your know if there  
are any deficiencies and how to correct them. IF YOU DO NOT RECEIVE  
AN EMAIL ACKNOWLEDGMENT FROM ME THIS WILL LET YOU KNOW I DID NOT  
RECEIVE YOUR SUBMISSION. Contact me as soon as possible to make sure  
your event announcement makes it into the Black Star.
