Bring your Wits and your Weapons to Bryn Gwlad's Rapier Tiny Tourney. 

Inspections and registration begin at 6:30PM so we can get started as soon as 
possible. 

The Tournament: 

The tournament will be point based with some points coming from wins
and some will be awarded by the judges. This is not an elimination
tournament. Here are the details of the point distributions:

Round 1: Fighters will negotiate their own weapons choices and combinations. 
Each fighter will explain to the judges why they chose those weapons  The 
winner of each bout receives 3 points. In addition, each judge may choose  to 
award each fighter one point.

Round 2: Fighters will agree on heavy blades or epees. The list mistress  will 
assign secondaries. Each fighter will explain to the judges some strategy or tactic 
they plan to use. The winner of each bout receives 3 points. In addition,  each 
judge may choose  to award each fighter one point.

Round 3: Rapier & dagger. Each fighter will answer questions of  a philosophical 
nature posed by the judges. The winner of each bout receives 3 points. In 
addition, each judge may choose  to award each fighter one point. 

Round 4 (optional, if time allows or as a tie breaker): Case, Florentine or Two 
Swords. The winner of each bout receives 3 points.  

In addition, at the end of all the tournament rounds, each judge may award one 
additional point to the fighter of their choice. 


Site is the regular Fighter Practice Grounds at Populace in the Park. tournament 
starts at 7PM.
