Little Rock Lodging Availability Help Line For Hurricane Evacuees


LITTLE ROCK, ARK. (September 22, 2005) - The Little Rock Convention 
and Visitors Bureau (LRCVB) is providing assistance to citizens 
seeking hotel accommodations in Little Rock due to hurricane 
evacuation orders in the states of Texas and Louisiana. The LRCVB 
is managing a lodging availability help line and providing callers 
with local hotel information including room availability for Little 
Rock lodging establishments. Information is also available for 
visitors requiring specific hotel accommodations such as pet-
friendly rooms. The LRCVB wants to help make the process of finding 
shelter as easy as possible for the thousands of people forced from 
their homes. 

Those needing assistance or representatives of Little Rock hotels 
having room availability through Sunday, September 25, 2005 should 
call the Little Rock Convention and Visitors Bureau at 800-844-4781 
(toll free) or 501-376-4781. Evacuees having access to the internet 
can also log onto www.littlerock.com to find general hotel 
information.

Thursday, September 22: until 7:00 p.m.
Friday, September 23: 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Saturday, September 24: 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Sunday, September 25: 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
