Sorry to be so blunt, but if someone is more concerned about causing drama than actually paying attention to what's really going on, then they need to mind their own buisness.

And in the same bluntness if one was not at the play then they should not be a critic. Really if you were not there then don't comment. If the act made many people offended (and in the barony in which it was done there were more then one person offended) then he did the right thing to apologize. Telling people to mind their own business when acts are being performed around them that were offensive is in itself offensive.
