Just bescuase you have principalities doesn't mean they have to go Kingdom.  The West has three of them and I don't think they will ever branch off.  I don't live in Alaska so I don't know what their thoughts are but I know the other two would never consider branching off from the West.
 
I'm just saying,  just becuase they are made, it doesn't mean they need to go away and become Kingdoms in their own right.
