Vary true, but think of the "soul" value of pilgrimage. Of course, you'd
have to take about two weeks there and back for Warlord, but you would
certainly get a batter appreciation of say, a knight traveling the jousting
tournament route in Europe.
I think it could be fun, I just can't afford to take two months off work. I
think they would probably fire me.

Yes, but... I can drive from Bryn Gwlad to the Gulf War site in about 10
hours. How long would that trip take either on horseback or horse-and-wagon?
For that matter, even a local event would be difficult to do in a weekend
if you were using horses instead of cars.
