This is the Smythkepe Early Warning system: MSKD is coming!

Mid-Summer Knight's Dream XIV: Italian Carnivale will be this Labor Day weekend (that's Sept 1-4 AS XLI  for those without a calendar handy) in Smythkepe.

MSKD is Smythkepe's original all-weekend event dating all the way back to AS XXIV.  So much has changed, yet so much has remained the same. Many of the faces have changed, but one thing remains the same: Smythkepe Hospitality.

This year's MSKD promises to be the best yet featuring Heavy Weapons Fighting, Rapier Fighting,  A&S competitions (including Bardic), live weapons (including the traditional Anvil Toss), feasting, fun, classes, fun... and another Smythkepe tradition: a Quest . Did I mention fun? And a few surprises, too (did someone say "birthday cake"?)

As in years past, the site will be the heavily-wooded Rogers Scout Ranch  (near the thriving micropolis of Ione, Arkansas).
