I believe the "trim" that is mentioned is the Edging, or Dags. All it takes
to figure out Dags is a little mathematical ability, and enough drawing (or
drafting) ability to make a plastic or cardboard Template (you can use cups,
saucers and plates to help draw the template; just draw a Centerline, and
Edge lines, and go from there!)

I recommend sewing them to the top of the tent, rather than trying to attach
them seperately. Also. leaving the corners loose (rather than sewing them to
each-other, making a "box") will make the tent easier to set up.
