[Ansteorra] A Herald and a Scribe honored at Stargate Yule

Greetings, 
I'm pleased to announce three awards granted this weekend at Stargate Yule to fellows of the 
Heralds and Scribal guilds: 

Mistress Curstaidh Magorlick was granted a *Queen's Glove* for her work as Sable Scroll to Aaron
and Britta.  Later the Crown called forth scribes of the kingdom and began to proclaim the
singular and oft solitary work of the scribe in their studio.  This time the Crown called forth
and granted Curstiadh an *Iris of Merit* for her many years of original scroll designs for
charters to Ansteorra, her teaching painting techniques at numerous charter paint tables over the
years, and her mastery at painting charters for Ansteorra.  The Iris of Merit ribbon was a
pass-along given by HL Philomeena of Morningscourt, Stargate, that had belonged to her
late-husband, Don Giovanni Lorenzo da Montefiori; an Lion of Ansteorra with deep histories in both
Stargate and Ansteorran.  

Master Francois le Flamme was called from the kitchen with apron still on.  Francois was granted a
*Court Barony* for Ansteorra, for his many years in the Heraldic arts community, as Star Principal
and Laurel King of Arms; as well as his many other contributions to the society.  The coronet
presented was one from the Crown insignia box, a nice brass hat with large black and white
cabochon stones attached.  

There was much applause and standing ovations for both these fine individuals. 
Vivat Curstaidh!!   Vivat Francois!!
