It's not so much that having a B&B is a pain.  It's the politics and CRAP
that happens when a B&B step down.  Or when someone decides it's "their
turn" to be B&B.  The infighting that can occur then is awful!!!!

it in turns to act as a sort of executive officer for the week.
But all the decision of that officer have to be ratified
at a special biweekly meeting.

Hummmmmm  I think I have heard this before. 

My biggest worry and concern is that so many think having a Baron or
Baroness is a real pain and why would you subject a group of people to
such an odious thing as choosing a leader.

 I am leery of change I think others may be also.  
 I have been through a hat race they are not always fun.
 One of the many fears I have is that this will become the solution to a
group who fear the mess a hat race will make. 
 I trust my Crown but I still am leery of change.
Moonshadowe is a fun group and this may be their answer. I just hope it
isn't the answer to most new groups in the future.
