Per II A 2.b. of the online version of the Complete Participants Handbook

Swords may be made using having at least a 1-1/4 inch (32 mm) diameter on
the outside and at least 1/8 inch (3.2 mm) walls. This sword should have an
inner core of rattan that fills the interior of the tubular material from 
side to side.
This may only be used for single-handed weapons. Periodic inspection should
be made to determine the condition of the inner core. The edge of the tip
should be slightly beveled or rounded to help protect opponents.

Recently, I've seen much bruited on the internet about siloflex swords being 
no longer legal. Is there an addendum or planned revision to the CPH to 
cover this? Or is it just a silly rumor?
