For children, Ansteorra has the 'Rising Star', before children grow old enough and responsible
enough to obtain an 'Award of Arms', and for some that comes in their teens, not waiting till they
are 18yrs, for which I'm thankful.  

Some branches have created their own internal children awards to encourage the youth, till such
time as they may earn a 'Rising Star'. Stargate has non-armigerous awards the 'Rook' for children,
and the 'Gatekeeper of Stargate' for youths; where a scroll and insignia are presented. 
Additionally, champions in the areas of 'Children's Champion', boffer and youth rapier, as well as
A&S Children's champions have been recognized.
