The teacher next door to me just asked me if there was anything that
could really explain teachers to people, what would it be. Here is my
answer:

Teachers are servants of the students they teach. Teachers must inspire
them, guide them, direct them, and protect them. We as servants, can do
no more or less than they allow us to do.
