A Saxon law was that if a person killed a cat that protected the King's  
granary, they had to pay a fine equal to the amount of grain it took to reach  the 
height on the cat from it's nose to the tip of it's tail. I wonder if  the 
state of Texas has a similar law for Road Runners?
