[Ansteorra] Memorial Rapier Tourney for Benedict Ashton

Greetings,

A rapier tournament will be held on the auxiliary list field at  
Steppes Warlord from 1pm to 3pm Saturday in honor of Don Benedict  
Ashton.  The format will be heavy rapier only, with the exact rounds  
to be determined based on the number of combatants (it will be  
relatively standard).  Please arrive a little early (12:30ish) for  
armor inspection and sign-in.  An attempt at period footwear is  
requested.  Also, if Benedict made clothing for you or helped you  
with clothing (research, sewing, etc.) please wear the clothing (or  
bring it if it's not armor).  If you knew Benedict or knew of him,  
please come and help make this a fitting tribute for him (all are  
welcome - not just fighters!).
