I'm sorry for the delay in getting back - I get swamped at work during the 
week.

I'm not sure that Courtly Love, which was pretty much just a fad limited in 
scope by time and region, has anything to do with courtesy.  However the 
*myth* of Courtly Love, was a prevalent theme through the literature of the 
later period, and eventually served as one of the a bases for the Victorian 
chivalric thing.
