[Ansteorra] rumors

  Goode Gentles of Ansteorra,
  We heard an amusing rumor at ARN Fleet Headquarters
recently, and decided to share it.

  According to the rumor,Lord Admiral MacNamara was
busted back to capt of the Iron Lotus by  punitive
action of the Admiralty Board.

  This is a perfect example of how rumors grow, with
the telling.

  Here is the factual story.
Adm. MacNamara requested the change in rank/assignment
himself, for personal reasons.
  His request was discussed,in depth, and I ,VERY
RELUCTANTLY, agreed to an adminiistrative change.

  Let me state, clearly, at no time durng his tenure
as XO did I,EVER consider removing him for causee.

 The new ARN XO, HL Adm Alden Drake, is an excellent
replacement. 

 In the future, I hope that any rumor about the ARN be
adressed to me or another senior ARN Officer.

  Ansteorra expects that we do our duty. You cannot do more, you should never want to do less.
   To do your duty is not to do all that is expected of you, nor is it to do your best. To do your duty is to do everything you can find that needs done, and do it exactly right. Then find more that can be done, and do it, also.
