[Ansteorra] When you become an oldtimer (was:Start/end ofPeriod)

My first event waas the very first Battle of the Pines in Oct 1994.
I remember Daffyd burying chickens in the woods in the rain (spoiled chicken = bad feast) and helping Diedre make french onion soup and deviled eggs to try and fill everyone up. (And I've loved working in the kitchen ever since.)
