[Ansteorra] Haggling is not period?

Good Morning Dear Lady,
 
I am interested in both a paper on this topic as well as what shows.  I am the chronicler for the Barony of Loch Soilleir and my persona is the daughter of an italian merchant (or at least that is were we are starting) so there are two reasons why I am interested in mroe info.  I'd love it if i could print in in the Serpent's Tale but if not thats perfectly fine.  But I do feel it will help shape my persona.  As for the shows Im very curious...
