Get with your hospitaler. He/she generally has garb to loan or can find
someone to help you make some garb cheaply.

Cheap...Knee length T-tunics and dollar store moccisins with the laces
removed and a leather or cord belt.

ps. there are many ways to go period on a budget. Saw a nice period tent
over the weekend that was done really cheap.
