[Ansteorra] When you become an oldtimer (was:Start/end ofPeriod)

For me, it depends on how you define "event". I was going to meetings
on campus when we were setting up the UT branch in the Shire of Bryn
Gwlad since May 1977, but the first thing that wasn't a meeting or
fighter practise was a Hallow's Eve revel that fall. We fit the whole
shire in Varg's backyard. :)
