Intentions are only words (vapor-ware), and they are easy to ignore or
forget or "I must have been mis-understood".
Actions are what is done....period. Its in the bank, on the books and
part of history.
As part of this policy, also hold one responsible for their actions.
If one does good, then reward them, if one does bad, then correct them.
One of the big problems in the SCA is that people are not being held
responsible for their actions and getting away with damaging groups by
those actions...long, long, long story here, I won't go into it here.
At any rate. Hold people for their actions and it will raise the quality
of play for all.
