[Ansteorra] Crown news?

It was the only crown that I've had to shake snow off the shield when I
picked it up ;)

We found a bit of black ice on the way to the site. The field was
actually covered up with some tarps that were removed prior to the
fighting commencing to help cut down on accumulation. The procession
in, the taking of the oath and the pairing of the first round was done
inside the hall. Folks then headed out to the field to commence the
first round. As the fighting started, we were getting a bit of icy
snow, then we got some nice flakes later in the day. However, despite
the cold, excellent Ansteorran hospitality prevailed and it was a fine
day for fighting.
