The tournament was an excellent time, I had a blast.  First round was a 2
hour challenge match round, where two fighters would go and fight, and then
report who won to the list mistress (Countess Rebecca, whom I got to meet
and chat with for the first time).  You got two points for winning and one
point for fighting.  There were enough marshals that they were able to run
three fields (which was nice also).

The second round was a "30 second round" in that you had to defeat your
opponent in 30 seconds, or you both lost.  Whomever won in 30 seconds got
one point, no points were awarded for a double kill or if the 30 seconds
time expired.

After that they took the final 8 high point fighters and paired them up 1 vs
8, 2 vs 7, etc and ran it down in a single-elim, best two of three style
mini tourney.

A great time, and lots of fighting.  Love these type of events.

After that, got to watch some equestrian, and had a good time.  Feast looked
like everyone was enjoying themselves greatly, but the long drive home was
looking at us, so Gilyan and I left during feast.
