My good cousin,

I pray that you are correct, but I fear that you are
being deceived.

The Bloody Baron has more than a mere test on his
mind, he has conceived a plan to extend his holdings
and lay claim to some of the best farmlands in the
Kingdom. His deception is cunning indeed, for it has
deceived many Ansteorrans of true heart.

I only hope that the veil can be lifted from your eyes
before it is too late. I doubt not the might of the
Northern army in the field, but what good can it do
when your kinsman places his dagger at your back?

In service to Crown and Kingdom,
Kainin the Just
Baron of Bonwicke
