If your talking about the "Sighted Sub, sank same", yes. She fired the 
first shots of WWII for the US (official shots, actual there were some 
exchanges in China between US forces and the Japanese plus the Flying 
Tigers and the Americans that volunteered to fly in the RAF, RCAF and 
the RAAF).
