Thank you for your tact and diplomacy in addressing this issue.  I am so tired of "keyboard warriors" using their vocabulary as a weapon to assault those that are somewhat less "armed" than they.  Although I have no difficulties with spelling, vocabulary, or grammar, I have a son who is dyslexic and learning-disabled.  He can barely spell, and his writing is almost illegible.  However, he is both intelligent and articulate in oral conversation.  He has always been what is referred to as an "auditory processer", which is exactly the social interaction of which you speak.  I believe that there is room for more than one type of intelligence in this organization.  We could all stand to practice a little more patience in our dealings with others.  "Grace" is merely a title to some, and a call to 'Noblesse Oblige' to others.  You are a true example of the latter.

Dear people
I know many of you are very computer savvy and many of you are good at writing, 
but please remember not everyone is that way. I have a hard time with reading 
things on computer screens and my spelling is terrible. I have learning 
problems. Just because someone cannot express himself doesn't mean they will 
make a bad SCA member. One of my favorite members cannot read. He is very 
intelligent, but just has severe dyslexia. He loves the SCA because he can learn 
by communicating with people. Some of us learn by interaction with other people 
and we need to remember that the SCA is a group based on social interaction and 
modeling the high ideals of Middle Ages.
