[Ansteorra] linen material

Just in case anyone else is interested, if you send me the contact
information for the company, I'd be willing to run a circle on the fabric.
Deborah is a merchant so she might be able to get us a wholesale discount as
well...or avoid tax...or something like that.

I've participated in something like this in other groups buying fabric from
Dharma Trading Company and other types of supplies that are much cheaper
bought in bulk. The "host" takes the orders for the fabric and then figures
out what the final cost would be (shipping from the store + shipping to
individuals unless we want to meet at an event for delivery). Then everyone
sends the money via PayPal to the host. The order is placed and when it
comes in the host measures and cuts the fabric and sends it out. I have a
nice stash of noil silk now thanks to that circle. I think it came out to
right about $3 a yard. The host wanted practice dying fabric so she even
offered to custom dye the fabric at cost for us so I got some pretty colors
as well. It works out pretty well.

It sounds as though the minimum order is 100 yards. We would need to decide
which type of fabric we want to have in the order and go from there. If you
are interested, please send me an email privately to lady.ysabeau at gmail.com
so we don't clutter up the list.

Thanks!
Ysabeau

I have not bought any bolts yet - they are about 400.00 plus shipping from
NY. I am a college student so I would have to gather the money first. They
are called MJCahn and are some really nice people. Frankly if someone else
has the money to buy it and will sell pieces of it for cost or whatever I
would go in on it too. They have a few grades of linen - their white irish
linen is very fine - for chemises (needs a modesty panel), nice shirts etc.
They also have a heavier unbleached linen that is nice too - good for
regular shirts and other heavier garments. When I am not so loopy I will
post their contact info

I would love to buy some as well...please include me
if you can. Or if you would send me a link, that would
be appreciated as well. I know of several here that
could go through a bolt with me in no time...lol.
Let me know how wide and how much is left on this bolt
if any.
Thank you

I might be interested depending how much is left of
the 100 yards. Is
that
a wholesale price?

Deborah

I'd be interested in about 20 yards. How wide is it?
What is the
source?

Thanks!
