[Ansteorra] ice ice baby

Here in Fort Gibson just outside of Muskogee OK (part of Northkeep) we have
about 1-2" inches of Ice on the trees, power lines, and everything else.
Most of the city is with out power and water, we are some of the lucky ones.
Power here has been off and on, it blinks a lot making computer use a
hazard. There are downed trees and power lines all over town, several of the
houses in our neighborhood have trees on them. There is a downed  power line
in the yard across the alley from our house, it has been there for two days
with no sign of OGE to fix it.  It looks like a war zone here.

Today's morning temp was eight degrees and it is supposed to only warm up in
the teens and twenties today, with tonight being even colder. The temps here
are not supposed to be above freezing until Thursday.

Here in McKinney the roads are dry, the cars have icicles, the trees
and plants are crystals, and the wind is so cold that I wore a
furlined hat plus a wool coat with the hood on and was still ice
cold by the time I got into my office.

My lawn if officially deader than dead ... gonna have to replant
next fall.

I strongly dislike the cold .. but it is not as bad as where hubby
is ... he is in Seattle. :D
