His vigil tent was set up in the Bordermarch castle. There were people and memories there from his very long journey to knighthood. There were candles, a fire to keep warm as people waited, and a prayer bench inside for him to reflect. Everything was in white. We had a tent set up outside the castle sparkling with lights (quite an accomplishment for the that site) and we had a cherub fountain with long island ice tea for refreshment and period foods. The ceremony was very moving, with Sir Kenneth singing Agencourt as Master Godwyn read the rolls of the Ansteorran knights for the procession. Giotto's final unanswered blow was given by both Sir Aaron AND Sir Britta together...it was all very special.

I know I'm biased but I thought the vigil/peerage ceremony for Sir Giotto was
inspiring.
